The Jute Coat is a full-length minimal overcoat with a single button at the collar and a belted, robe like fit. Easy to layer over another jacket, it's got a wide body and a large collar, with two flap pockets in the front. It hangs open nicely, lacking any closures down the placket, only staying closed when worn with the belt tied and collar buttoned.
A unique variant of the Jute Coat, the Brown Boucle edition is produced in Peru using an extremely plush, textured alpaca knit, and is cut with a slightly longer body than other versions. The heavyweight fabric is very wooly and three-dimensional, and features a hunting-jacket-style dog's head button at the collar.
